“Until victory always” - Ernesto Che Guevara

A controversial figure of the 20th Century, Che Guevara Born on June 14 1928 grew up in Argentina Guevara studied medicine at Buenos Aires University where he also became involved in opposition under the dictatorship of Argentine leader Juan Peron. An intellectual and an idealist, able to speak coherently about Aristotle, Kant, Marx, Gide or Faulkner, he also loved poetry, and was equally at home with Keats as with Sara De Ibáñez, his favorite writer. He studied Marx and became a major revolutionary figure in Latin America, joining with Fidel Castro to establish a communist government in Cuba.

Che Guevara undoubtedly has a romantic and cultural appeal to many young people who associate with   his image as a "rebel”.
Guevara's image is iconic in some leftist circles even today

Education is made business these days???

Education is made business these days; this is mainly due to increase in no of schools and colleges. Privatization of educational institutions is also one more cause for it. Effects of it are like two sides of a coin, one is more people can able to study and get degrees and second one is they concentrate only on intelligent students, they make them as group and they are taught by professors for getting better results, leaving average students who are being taught by junior lecturers. This is similar example to "RICH getting RICHER and POOR getting POORER". Universities in many countries are offering dual degree if they study in that university for just one year, but actual course will be for three or four years, this is only means for getting money. Now a day’s parent are in illusion that more is the fee, much excellent is that institution, it might be true in some institutions but it is not true with all institutions. Some institutions make profits by offering limited seats with more fee and some institutions make profits by offering more seats with less fee. All educational institutions may not be like this, some may be genuine. Government should take steps to avoid this.

The more I think about how higher education is structured these days, the more I think it has become a business, putting shareholder demands (i.e. corporate partners) first and students last.

The pursuit for funding and keeping budget costs down has led to universities increasing their number of students beyond capacity and diluting the quality of education by hiring "lecturers" or "instructors". Part of it is probably a byproduct of this notion that higher education should be accessible to everyone and I am not saying it shouldn't be. However, it seems that universities are simply providing students with a taste, a sample, of academia by hiring low-cost lecturers in order to make the most of the tuition they receive. Sure, these students might emerge with a degree but it is one that lacks the fundamental elements which originally made it sought after namely, critical thought and a desire to seek out truth in the world. Instead, students are being seeded with only the skills and knowledge necessary for entry into a corporate partner's offices. In this sense, higher education has simply become a product, a process designed to mold students into the ideal employee for businesses, a far cry from what universities were meant to do.

I know it may sound like a sort of "academic elitism" to say that universities have lost their way but I am concerned with the quality of education today in universities and the impact that will leave on our society. An interested student can study in government institutions...even the students who can’t effort for higher studies can work hard and get scholarships and stipends in the universities.. even the banks are providing loans for the students who really work hard... so even the education is becoming more commercialized the talented student can make their dreams to come true... we should not look for opportunities and chances we have to go for chances and grab them...and a DIAMOND is DIAMOND Everywhere...........

Nowadays there is demand in coaching classes and there are made a good business of education some of the classes have opened their own schools and colleges. And so students are not attending schools and colleges they prefer to go in coaching classes a very good example from movie called ‘AARAKSHAN ‘. In this movie they gave more preference on coaching classes that they demand higher fees for education and rich people are ready to give higher fees but the question is what about the poor student how they will get education whether it may be schools and colleges or  coaching classes ? this poor students or any students who are weak in studies they can’t afford the higher fees for getting education  and so it lead to social degradation of students life so for this reason some students commit suicides also.
so i would like to conclude that our future is going to be in danger if this continues in future so I recommend that stop those  people from making a education a business

reality shows are better than daily soaps ?

As we all now now our today's generations are getting bored watching those boredom type of daily soaps they want something new in or interesting to watch not those saas - bahus serials and specially those ekta kapoor's serials which we all call disaster or headache her serials are long-run once and also much more family stuff were there is a saas bahu relation and a vamp who trouble them that's it nothing beyond that

people are feeling boredom watching all this stuff and they want some comedy or something adventurous , thriller , some masti , masala , dhum-dhadaka dance , romantic songs , etc
yes, here is what im talking about the really show which made the people crazy to watch so here is a question Is reality shows better than the daily soaps ?

TRP is an important tool channels use to rate their shows. Giving an example of two very famous Indian shows, Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘ Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC)’ aired on’ Sony Entertainment Television’ and Salman Khan’s big ticket show ‘Big Boss 4’ on Colors.
KBC is aired during the time band of 9pm-10 30pm. The one and half hour first episode of the season kick started with an average TRP of 5%. It is the highest average rating recorded in the time band of 9pm-10 30pm Monday.
On the other hand Salman’s Big Boss recorded an average rating of 3.4%. The opening episode of Big Boss 4 on Oct 3rd clashed with the Common Wealth Games opening and had still managed to grab eyeballs.

Other channels like Star Plus, Zee TV and Imagine TV that telecast fiction shows during the time band too failed to match KBC with an average rating of 3.2, 2.9, and 1.1 percent respectively. It is observed today that fiction shows have a much lesser TRP rating amongst youngsters. The youth today prefers Reality Shows. Big Boss and KBC are a change to the audience from the daily soap’s and help in bringing the family together to enjoy a show during dinner time. Though KBC and Big Boss are two different genres of shows it’s not possible to compare them as one helps in building general knowledge and the later is a family masala show with a lot of drama and entertainment.A lot of talent shows today like Boogie Woogie, Indian Idol, Sare Gama and Dance India dance are also helping the common people to show their talent. This is a stage used by many aspirants to get into the limelight and create a place in the industry.Producers are also now investing in dance shows like Nach Baliye and Jhalak Dikhhlaja by introducing celebrity couples and pairing them with aspiring choreographers which is helping to increase the TRP’s of the show and also giving recognition to those working behind scenes. These reality shows bring about drama and some real world factor and the combination of the two helps in attracting audience.Fiction Shows are losing its charm due to the same stereotype and predicted storylines. It is now failing to attract audience and retain them. On the other hand reality shows are attracting a huge mass of the youth as well as the other mass audience. For example shows like KBC and Big Boss attract a mass of the audience on the other hand Roadies and Splits villa aired on MTV attracts a lot of the youth today.Reality shows have also helped give a break to the Bollywood Stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Akshay Kumar to enter the television world and make an impact on television. We see a lot of film stars today hosting reality shows as this gives the producers a probability of higher TRP rating than introducing a new Television Star.
It sure seems like the Indian television is undergoing a revolution and shifting from the regular Soaps to a marathon of Reality Shows

Reality Shows came as an alternative to daily soaps and serials – precisely events in the television that offered 'out of the box ideas' and a refreshing alternative. These are basically television shows, based on real life competitions, far removed from daily soaps with stringent story lines. It came as a welcome change to viewers and they received such shows with open arms. Reality shows capture the life and behavior of ordinary people in real-life situations. Ever since they invaded Indian television (Channel V's talent hunt for a musical band started the trend of reality shows in India), these soon became extremely popular with the audience. Reality television shows broke the monotony of serials with otherwise complicated story lines to attract viewer-ship with interesting scripts. Hence reality shows are stealing the show big time. Some of the shows include talent hunts; game and celebrity shows, documentary-style shows, makeover shows. But however different their concepts might be, and welcome they are to the audience, all reality shows are bound with a common thread- that of putting ordinary people or celebrities in real-life situations that would entertain other commoners.
Reality Shows in India are most popular in terms of various musical shows and in various languages. These have effectively brought life to the otherwise monotonous contents. Shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Zee TV), Indian Idol (Sony TV), or Voice of India (Star Plus) have been running successfully and each is extremely well received by viewers from all corners of the country. Apart from just being ingredients for entertainment, these reality shows also bring out the latent talent of so many young men and women and many gifted performers are born thus.

What excites the audience most is that these reality shows make the audience a part and parcel of these live shows. For example, Indian Idol – the most popular music reality show on Indian television till date, inspired by The American Idol, allow the audience to choose the winner through SMS voting system. This very interactivity fetches the show and its likes much popularity and fan followings. So much is the popularity of these shows that even the regional language channels are not far behind in reproducing such programmes in their language and gaining regional popularity.
However, Indian reality shows are hardly original. Most of the times, they are a direct borrow from their western counterparts. Some producers and anchors argue that there is nothing wrong in this as long as it popular and satisfies the entertainment appetite of viewers and moreover, Indian television at this stage is very experimental and seeking success through both original and tried and tested concepts in the form reality shows. Needless to say, reality television shows in India have been received well and are here to stay....!!!
but still i will ask u what do u prefer guys reality shows or soap operas 90% people watch reality shows in this the age group are the working class people, college and school going students , etc and only 10% people watch soap operas in which the age group are the housewives, and senior citizens .

HINDI OLD MOVIES VS NEW MOVIES

which one do u prefer Hindi old movies or new movies of Indian films ?
if u ask me then i will prefer old movies there are many reasons for choosing old movies

Old movies are with a purpose and I think the time is such that they could not have had such limitations. Those movies were made with a message a meaning and most of all for with viewer ship in mind. Coming today the movies have come of age but lost on the basic ingredients as to they are being made. Thanks to minting of money and unnecessary competition now days they have lost the main aim- purpose and viewer ship.
in olden days the movies were made to last for eternity(many to name of course)but now except for a few u hardly remember a movie with a message. they have become more of marketing agencies for money by beautification rather than substance.

Well, I would say that old movies are really good in story and as well as songs. Music was really romantic those days but the lyrics....! I personally feel each and every line mentioned in the lyrics. To be honest I am still lover of old movies. New movies are only to earn money. They are just using the stardom and a little expose of beautiful models involved with meaningless messages. Well, this is what I feel the difference between old and new Indian movie

Nowadays songs are only rock with all dhumdhadaka  and all today's movies are more about sex and dressing style that's it  and old movies had feelings about the Indian society.
You know, people often says 'old is gold' and actually its true songs of old movies are very touching like chalte chalte from pakheezah ,  pyar kiya toh darna kya from Mughal e Azam  and ajeeb dasta hai yeh from dil apna aur preet parai  they are still loved by everyone and will also love forever no new movies will compete this old movies

Hindi old movies are way ahead in every aspect as compared with new hind movies. Now a day’s lot of old classics are remarked with the same story, same name, same songs but only the difference is they are having new actors a best example : old karz movie of  rishi kapoor and new karz movie of himesh reshammiya  see the difference old one was famous and the new one went flop there are many examples of remake of old movies which went flop

today's movies focus on :-
1. Today’s movies are more focused on international market and overseas distribution.
2. Today we can show things which were taboo in old days . so people of today r more aware of things
3. More likely overall budget has increase.
4. More employment for people related to today’s cinema
5. Today bollywood shoot at most every good location possible so u can see the world and its beauty at home.
6. As far as nudity is concern i guess its just the way u look at it. Nothing more nothing less. Which keep the option open for non commercial and adult cinema.
7. Today cinema is well finished from sound to visual.

but still its your own choice to prefer the movies

WHY THE HELL KASAB IS STILL ALIVE ?

It's Mumbai in the news. Once again for the terror unleashed on innocents  in the city. Bomb blasts in the crowded places have ripped apart the law and order. The metro is atop a volcano. People, as earlier, feel scared. The tragedy has once more triggered a huge debate about the safety of an aam aadmi. What is really shocking in the whole episode is the way lives are getting lost.
The three serial blasts in Mumbai are a grim reminder to the Indian people that we are extremely high on the terrorists' radar. We cannot afford to lower our guard nor take any satisfaction in reeling out statistics that Mumbai has been attacked by terrorists after a gap of thirty one months.

Why is it that Mumbai is repeatedly chosen as a target of terrorist attacks? The reason is obvious. An attack on Mumbai hurts Indian economy.  It is globally highlighted.  It stands in a chain of a large number of major attacks starting from the 1993 serial blasts, the train blasts and the attack on 26/11 amongst the major ones. When we hear any bomb blast held we talk about kasab only. And coincidentally kasab’s birthday was there on 13/7

Why he is still alive?  Someone talks about the money being spent on looking after Kasab in jail. He is a national burden, Kasab should be hanged, he gets all the needs which he wants to satisfy such as Urdu newspapers, particularly Urdu times , perfumes , toothpaste, permission to walk in Arthur jail courtyard (if I continue to remain in this cell , I will lose my mental balance “”he pleaded ) , personal belongings and money confiscated after his arrest to be deposited in jail account in his name .
There is some political issue or support for kasab’s  all requirement satisfaction
All Indian’s are very angry that still kasab is alive he should be hanged  as fast as possible he is the root cause of all the serial bomb blast

renaming dadar station as 'Chaityabhoomi'

As the battle for Dalit votes ahead of the civic elections in Maharashtra  got interesting amid reports that the Sharad Pawar  lead Nationalist Congress Party is mulling a resolution on renaming Dadar railway station in Mumbai as'Chaityabhoomi' station, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray said he was opposed to any such move.
"I am opposed to renaming of any sort. What issues are going to be resolved by renaming," Raj told media-persons .
'Chaityabhoomi' is the memorial of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar (he was cremated there in 1956), near Dadar railway station in central Mumbai.
Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee president Manikrao Thakre on Monday said that his party supported the demand to rename of Dadar railway station in the city as 'Chaityabhoomi Terminus'. they think that this will make dalit people some help as they are equal.
this is absolutely very wrong thing  to rename dadar. changing name will not help dalit people rather helping them by providing job, food education can help them to grow. dadar name has its own historical value .I would request others also to stop renaming of dadar .congress is already in deep trouble having various scams so changing name will not add any thing to their vote bank.
I’m against this issue as we are giving dalit people many reservation but changing name of station is a wrong process I think we all should be opposed on this issue

mother's day special poem

When God set the world in place,
when He hung the stars up in space,
when He made the land and the sea,
then He made you and me.

He sat back and saw all that was good,
He saw things to be as they should.
Just one more blessing He had in store;
He created a mother, but whatever for?

He knew a mother would have a special place
to shine His reflection on her child's face.
A mother will walk the extra mile
just to see her children smile.
She'll work her fingers to the bone
to make a house into a home.

A mother is there to teach and guide,
a mother will stay right by your side.
She'll be there through your pain and strife,
she'll stay constant in your life.

A mother will lend a helping hand
until you have the strength to stand.
She'll pick you up when you are down,
when you need a friend she'll stick around.

A mother is one who listens well,
will keep her word; will never tell.

A mother never pokes or pries
but stands quietly by your side,
giving you the strength you need,
encouraging you to succeed.

A mother is one who can be strong
when you need someone to lean on.

You're more than a mother to me;
a reflection of Him in your face I see,
a love that knows no boundaries.

I'm glad that you chose to be
all this and more to me.
You share a love that knows no end,
you're more than my mother,
you are my friend.

akshaya tritiya

Akshaya Tritiya, variously spelt as Akshya Thiritiya, Akshaya Trutheeya, Akshaya Tritiiya and also called Akshaya Trithi, is one of the four most auspicious days of the year for Hindus Akshaya Tritiya, is an auspicious or pious day in Hindu calendar that is also consider as  Akha Teej. Akshaya Tritiya is a Hindu and Jain holy day, that falls on the third Tithi (Lunar day) of Bright Half (Shukla Paksha) of Hindi month of Vaishakha.
In 2011 Akshaya Tritiya falls on 6th May 2011 and Indian people celebrate it with great enthusiasm.

The word Akshaya, a Sanskrit word, literally means one that never diminishes, and the day is believed to bring good luck and success.
The people of different parts of India celebrate this festival with their respective faith, and also assume that on this day they are blessed by god to bring good luck and success in their life. On this auspicious day is it’s particularly considered to buy long term assets like gold and silver, including ornaments made of the same; diamond and other precious stones; and the real estate. The Indian myths also states that any endeavour initiated on the auspicious day of Akshaya Tritiya shall continue to grow and bring prosperity in the lives. So, people generally begin new ventures, like starting a trade, ground contravention for construction etc. on the auspicious day Akshaya Tritiya.
On the auspictious day of Akshaya Tritiya Hindu people worship the Lord Vishnu/Laxmi/Ganesh/Parshuram, Some people taking fast/making a charity to needy people and purchase of gold/silver/properties and long term assets that they demonstrates the prosperity in their lives and that silhouettes the lives of the generation next.
Reason for worshiping  Akshaya Tritiya.:- Jainism is one of the oldest known religions of world. Rishabhadeva alias Adinath is the first Tirthankara of the Jains. The Day of Akshay Tritiya is worshipped and said to be auspicious in Jainism because -Tirthankara Rishabhadeva was the king of Ayodhya. Upon attaining enlightenment, he gave up all worldly pleasures and chose to lead the life of an ascetic and became a Jain monk. Jain monks do not own anything. They do not even cook food for themselves. When hungry or thirsty, they go to the people and ask for food or drinking water. Tirthankara Rishabhadeva also went to people and asked food. However, the people of that time did not know anything about the lives and disciplines of monks, as he was the first monk of his era. The people of Ayodhya offered him gold, jewellery, gemstones, elephants, horses, expensive garments and even their daughters to honour their beloved king. Rishabhadeva was not in quest of all these. He sought only a morsel of food, but nobody offered it to him. Nobody understood that their king was asking for food. As there was no choice, he had to fast for a long time until his grandson Shreyansha Kumara understood his need. Finally Shreyansha Kumara, offered him sugarcane juice and thus Rishabhadeva ended his fast after a year. This was on the day of Akshaya Tritiya. This is considered by the Jains as one of the best offerings. It is believed that religious gifts bestowed on Akshaya Tritiya become inexhaustible. Jains even today, observe a fast to commemorate their first Tirthankara Rishabhadeva on Akshaya Tritiya and end their fast with sugarcane juice. As per Hindus, this day is ruled by god Vishnu, the preserver-god in the Hindu Trinity. It is also traditionally celebrated as the birthday of the Hindu sage Parashurama, the sixth Avatar (incarnation) of the god Vishnu. According to Hindu mythology, on this day the Treta Yuga began and the river Ganges, the most sacred river of India, descended to the earth from the heaven.
Significance of Akshaya Tritiya
Akshaya tritiya is also called Akha Teej. According to Hindu culture this is the most significant day to start new ventures and to perform sacred deeds. There is more than one reason to celebrate Akshaya tritiya. Following points illustrate the importance of Akshaya tritiya as the most auspicious of all days:
  • Brightest Day: Akshaya tritiya is the brightest day of the yearaccording to Hindu astrology. On this day the planet Sun and planet moon are in such an astrological position that they emit maximum light throughout day and night. Indians take special delight in celebrating bright days of summer. Thus Akshaya tritiya is the celebrated with great gusto.
  • Parshuram jayanti: It was on the day of Akshaya tritiya that Parshuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu took place. Thus is a special day for devotees of Lord Vishnu.
  • Mahabharata Day: Mythological experts believe that the greatliterature Mahabharata was initiated on this day. Vedavyas and Lord Ganesh began the great literature on this day, thus called it Mahabharata day.
  • Jains Fasting Day: Sri Rishabhdev, the first ‘Thirtankar’ of Jain broke his fast after fasting for one whole year. Jains fast on this day to commemorate his sacrifice.
Akshya tritya Celebrations:
There should be some occasion otherwise we are ready to celebrate any day. Yes. You can celebrate Akshya tritya in your own way. But it is best celebrated by buying gold or gifting gold to your dear ones.
‘Akshaya’ means never diminishing. Gold or silver or any valuable bought on this day will never diminishes. Thus people celebrate it with gold as thesymbol of wealth and prosperity.
Akshaya Tritiya Rituals:
Devotees of Vishnu take up several rituals on this day. They do Lakshmipoojan. They go to Vishnu temples and seek for good pleasure of Lord. They do Tulasi pooja and take part in charity of food and clothes.
